Colonial Backpackers is situated on eight acres of natural bushland in Hervey Bay Queensland.

If you are feeling sporty, the hostel offers tennis courts, volleyball court, basket ball hoop, swimming pool and pool table. There is also a licensed bar and eatery.

We are the closest hostel to Fraser island with the harbour terminal and beach nearby.

With a great climate of mild winters and warm summers, Hervey Bay is one of these places that just lends itself to relaxing, socialising and FUN (or are they the same thing?).
